The Greatest Adam Sandler Comedies In His Career

By Richard Brockman

When talking about successful comedians in years past, one person that has to be brought up in the conversation is Adam Sandler. He was never that well known for his stand up comedy, but rather for his hilarious prank call albums and novelty songs. He then managed to explode onto the movie scene and hasn't slowed down since.

When it comes to choosing my favorite Adam Sandler movies, it is no easy task as I like most of them. But without further ado, here is my top 5.

Of course, it is difficult to make a list of Adam Sandler movies without giving praise to the film that jumpstarted his acting career, and that film was none other than Billy Madison. This movie holds up the comedy test of time and is still hilarious.

It is tough to make a top five list of Adam Sandler movies without mentioning Big Daddy. This is a great comedy for the whole family and everyone from young men to older women seem to find something to like about this film.

If you need a movie that you can just watch and laugh, and not really need to worry about keeping with the plot line, then Little Nicky is a great option. This movie is pure silliness, yet Sandler's depiction of the Devil's good-hearted son is rather enjoyable.

One movie that starred Adam Sandler that I really loved when it came out was Bulletproof. This movie also starred Damon Wayans at the peak of his career, however upon watching it again recently, it was not as good as I originally thought.

Another great film that stars Adam Sandler was Happy Gilmore. This movie has a ton of quotable lines that my friends and I still recite to this day.

These are just a few of Adam Sandler's films that come to mind. Most of his films throughout the years have been worthy of seeing, however, even if they are not on this list..
