The Story Of Killing Floor Gameservers

By Alfonso Hinton

Killing Floor is a game hosted through a gameserver online. This is a cooperative online horror game that has gone through many incarnations to get to its current day form. The Killing Floor server has become a highly advanced gameserver and attract gamers of all kinds. What started out as, essentially, a demo game in 2004, is now a highly popular cooperative horror survival game.

Going through many changes along the way, this game has seen a steady increase in popularity over time. Until it was realized that this game was popular enough to be marketed on its own footing in retail, it went through different versions of the original mod. The game is now available in a fully functional version that has a lot of really cool features, it can be accessed through the freely downloadable software Stream or bought on Valve.

Killing Floor now offers a solo mode, whereby a person can play Killing Floor in a one-player version offline. This is only offered in the newest version of the Killing Floor game as it is a brand new feature. You can now play on the game server with up to six different people in the cooperative game mode, enhancing the ability for you to gather up all your friends and create a game session online.

While you play Killing Floor, there are a lot of achievements that you get from doing this or that. These achievements, in the newest version of the game, can be saved and added to the overall "personality" of your character. This will give you areas of strategic advantage, and enhance your strengths, but also make you weak in some ways too. There are over 40 different achievements you can obtain in the newest version of the game.

There are now a total of 9 different "specimens" or creatures that are on the attack that you and the rest of your teammates must be on the lookout for. It is vital that you know they are there, lurking, as they will be after you and your teammates. You are able to choose the individual "perks" or achievements you would like to play with when playing in this cooperative environment. Allowing you to survive for longer, you can tailor the strengths of your team to best suit your situation.

Though it is cooperative in nature, this is essentially a first person shooter that is played in a team oriented fashion. There are many ways that you can customize your playing experience from the types of monsters that attack, the number of waves they come in, and so on. There is now the ability to purchase Killing Floor dedicated server space specialized for the game. This allows for the ultimate personalization and customization of your gaming experience, and the servers can host up to 50 players at a time.

With the newest version you can now add your own modifications. You can create your own new levels, once you've completed all the challenges of the original game. Put your creativity to the test and come up with fun and challenging new ways for people to try to figure out how to survive.
