Finding good tennis backpacks

By Vince Samios

Good tennis players really understand the importance of good tennis backpacks. It is important that you have a pack that will carry everything that you need and that will not wear out easily.

You need to get a pack that will hold your rackets, but that won't damage them. You want a pack that keep your equipment and your tennis clothes separate and you should also look for a special sleeve to put extra tennis balls in.

An important feature on good tennis backpacks is having good should straps. A good should strap is usually wide and well padded. Having the right should straps will help to redistribute the weight of your pack so that it is easier to carry all your equipment with you. When you have a pack that has shoulder straps that are too narrow you are likely to end up not wanting to carry the pack because it won't be very comfortable for you.

You also need to look at the feature on the pack that is designed to carry the extra tennis balls. It really isn't even going to be worth looking at a pack that doesn't have compartment for your tennis balls. It is best if the sleeve that holds the tennis balls is attached to the outside of the pack rather than trying to fit one more thing inside the pack.

A good tennis pack will be designed so that the bulk of the racket is placed inside the pack. You are trying to protect your racket with this pack and therefore the most important part of the racket, is the strings and so protecting the head of the racket really matters. You should make sure that the rackets slide into the pack easily and that you aren't trying to force the rackets into the pack, which could damage them over time.
