Bend stress with Aromatherapy Soy Candles

By Kim Montgomery

Candle making activity is a fun passion but it can be more fun if you are making aromatherapy candles. When I heard about the word 'aromatherapy', first thing that came into my mind is aroma and relaxation. What about you? What are the things that come into your mind?

Aromatherapy came from unstable plant oils including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being. Studies have proven that it facilitates the inflow of psychological and physical benefits when used appropriately and with precaution since essential oils include all pure oils originating from plants that have unpredictable tang based compounds.

I know you are confused with essential oils and aroma oils. Well, both are really different from each other. Though, both are used to produce great smells but they are different. Fragrance oils contain synthetic chemicals. Unlike essential oils, scent oil does not provide some therapeutic benefits and are artificial.

Now let's get back to aromatherapy candles, every time you make use of essential oils in making your candle, you unconsciously provide a soothing effect to your sense of smell which is the most unattended of all your senses. Essential oils can help facilitate the entrance of worry reducing agents. An aromatherapy candle, once lit can help take away work-related worries and put your mind at a state of ease It is amazing that just by lighting up your candle, you can take control of your health in a chemical-free manner.

The first step you need to undertake when you want to make aromatherapy candles is to find out what kind you want to make. I'd like to make a recommendation. Make aromatherapy soy candles. Why? Soy Wax is not costly, is all - pure, and not hard to clean up.

Agree with soy wax? Then we can start making your aromatherapy soy candles. If you experience making soy candles then you probably have your materials with you except that we are using essential oils instead of smell oils. If you haven't experienced making soy candles, you need soy wax, candle containers or molds, cotton wick, double boiler, essentials oils (of course, your choice) and optional candle dye (do not use food coloring or soap coloring)

Upon procurement of all the things you will need, you need to start dissolving the soy wax in the double boiler. 170 degrees is the ideal heat temperature. The second step is to add the candle dye in your candle. Add little by little until you reach the desired color then stir it up in two minutes using a wooden stick to blend the soy wax and the color dye. Stir in the essential oils and continue mixing for at a couple more minutes until it mixes in completely with the combination. The temperature should be at least 170 degrees to make sure that essential oils and the combination become one. . Essential oils are pretty sensitive and can burn if there is too much heat that is why you should always control the temperature.

Now, let's gear up the wick by dipping it with the container. . Now, put the combination inside of the container. Reduce the temperature to between 95 to 110. Pour it slowly and surely. Once you're finished, let the combination cool off. You have now crossed the finish line! Congratulations! You now have your finished product of aromatherapy soy candles. .
Upon cooling off, enjoy your aromatherapy soy candles along with its healthful benefits You can also consider giving it as a present to someone and let them feel its beauty. Take it easy and take pleasure in a worry free existence. I trust you'll be in love with your candle.
