New Website For Skipper's Guide

By Richard Proctor

The Skipper's Guide Website are now pleased to announce that their website has been updated. The website has been modernised and updated with the help of Squiders Web Design. A more up to date and 'fresh' appearance has been created by using new graphics and images. New features have also been introduced. Elements of the book can now be downloaded. A simple search facility located on the front page is the directory of marine trades and service providers.

The Skipper's guide website will have a regular selection of news and articles that we feel will be of interest to the boating community in East Anglia, the Southeast, Thames and further afield to who ever wants to log-on.

Have a look at our problem page where it says need something fixed. You submit your marine problem and we will help to find the right marine company to fix your problem. It is a unique service that we provide for our readers and we hope you will find it of value. Register for regular updates and send in your boating stories which we will be delighted to publish. Development of the Skippers Guide website will be ongoing, with new features added so click onto favourites and we will keep you updated.

Currently we are compiling the 2011 Skippers Guide marine Publications for East Anglia and the South East. The Skippers Guides are always hand delivered to selected marinas, yacht clubs, chandleries throughout the regions. New advertisers and new articles will provide the boat owners with a handy reference book for 2011. It is an interesting read that includes information of regional nature and articles for boat owners everywhere. The directory section is user friendly and allows boat owners or businesses to find information quickly.

The venues where the Skippers Guide can be collected will be published.

The new guides will also be published on the website so now we are available both in hard copy and electronically.
