Nutritious Steamed Chicken And Vegetables

This meal may be served for 5 guests. Begin by washing three whole chicken breasts under running water and dry them properly, one can pat them dry if required.

At this time introduce a teaspoon of salt in a bowl containing pulverized tarragon leaves and spray 3/4 of this mixture over the chicken breasts. Now get a 12 in skillet and pour some cold water.

Assemble the chicken and vegetables on a serving tray. Heat the liquid in the skillet till the time it lessens to half a cup, subsequently pour this on the chicken and spray a couple of tablespoons of chopped parsley above.

Asian Style Steamed Chicken

This recipe is related the previous dish albeit with an Asian essence as a result of the soy sauce and green onions. Put six chicken breasts or a whole chicken in a large vessel. Chop up three potatoes, a red bell pepper, two green onions, and 1 yellow onion. Combine half a cup of soy sauce with the chopped vegetables, 1 tbsp of garlic or garlic powder and half a teaspoon of black pepper.

Pour this mix on the chicken and conceal the pan tightly. Cook till the time the meat is white all the way through and the vegetables are tender. Turn the poultry 2 times as it cooks so it does not burn on the base but maintain the lid on so the steam cooks the meat.
