That Will Help You And Your Spouse Get A Better Night Sleep

By Justin Newton

Many people like to travel, but few like to wake up in the middle of the night to trek off to the potty room. Maybe you are one of these travelers, stressed out by a midnight trips, not in search of treasure, but to the bathroom.

This might seem like no big deal, unless you have been doing it every night, then it really being to drain your energy and makes your nerves feel all on edge. It also wears the patience of the rest of the family.

Waking up for a drink and restroom brake or who knows what, would be OK if it were occasionally, but this every night thing is the pits.

Sadly, a lot of good people struggle with these challenges and never brake out of the cycle. It would not be so bad if it was just you, but every time you get out of bed, you wake up you partner.

My wife sometimes is very jumpy if I wake up and thinks that someone is prowling around, a raccoon is eating her prize cake on the kitchen counter down stairs or some other sort of distress. Her imagination is limitless. It my be a restroom distress, but I hate to get her adrenaline pumping for nothing.

By now you have had enough bad news and could add much more of your own. You are ready for some helpful suggestions that will stop this never ending nightmare.

First, try using the bathroom just before going to bed. This will eliminate a lot of running later. Generally your body will respond to this routine and that will get you in the habit of going then and not later.

Another tip is to plan ahead and drink less as evening comes. The plan is simple, the less liquid in your system the less need for you to dispose of it. This leads to fewer trips and more sleep.
