Nerf Vulcan - A Full Auto Nerf Gun of Trouble?

By Baxter Wells

Are you addicted to Nerf guns? Then you will love the Nerf Vulcan. The Vulcan is a Nerf gun that puts the others to shame. This toy is ridiculous. It appears like a thing that is directly out of Rambo. If you are a serious Nerf collector or someone who just loves the thrill of peppering mates with foam darts, than the Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 is among the greatest toys to add to your collection. This blaster features some fairly outstanding stuff that will win any competition in just minutes. Read on to learn more.

First of all, one of the first things you will observe about this toy, is the fact that it makes use of an ammo belt. The ammo belt is full of foam darts. This belt of course is used to feed it when you are blasting away. Aside from that it also includes a detachable ammo box, a carrying handle for when you want to be like Rambo, and a switch that lets you turn it on.

I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase one of these to try it out myself. You can purchase this one, as well as find many other nerf guns for sale at Wal-Mart, Toys R' Us, Target, and many other retailers. If you want to save money you might have better luck finding a less expensive price online. The first thing I noticed is that it's fairly weighty, so it might be better for an adult. The tripod is very nice for when you want to set it down. Shooting it is a pretty awesome experience. You can certainly release a hail storm of darts with it. I believe it may be one of the better toy dart guns available. It's a lot of fun to play with too.

Like most products, nothing is without defects. There is at least one complaint which I have read about and also found through testing. When I was working it and shooting, it jammed on me. This threw off my groove and made me cease my path of destruction and have to unjam the sucker. It functions best when immobile. On the tripod it functions great, and when you're holding it, it functions best to just keep it still and not jostle it around, otherwise a dart could possibly get jammed. This Nerf gun is a little on the heavy side, as I hear numerous youthful kids whine about it's weight.

If Hasbro does make yet another product such as this again, hopefully they create it so it doesn't jam as often. Overall though, I think it is worth having!
