Some Information On The Nerf Alpha Trooper Gun

By Jerry Benson

Nerf is a term that is applied to toys that are created to be safe for all ages and manufactured out of foam like materials. NERF stands for Non Expanding Recreational Foam and the most recognizable of the products are the toy guns that shoot foam darts. The newly released Nerf Alpha Trooper gun is quite possibly the most popular and sought after one of the bunch.

Nerf products originally were a line of strong foam balls. The Parker Brothers corporation acquired the line and marketed them as items that wouldn't break things or hurt old people. Later when another company got the line, they expanded it to include plastic toy guns, blasters, and soft ammunition.

The Alpha Trooper CS-18 is a blaster with its handle located near the bottom of the barrel. The gun also features slam firing, meaning when its trigger is held down, each pump fires a dart. Nerf enthusiasts praise it for being both lightweight and high quality.

The toy has a wide range of thirty to forty feet and can hold eighteen foam darts. They are loaded in the barrel of the gun and fired with either a pump or a trigger. Nerf fans praise this toy weapon for its extraordinary accuracy and range.

The gun has a number of accessories that are available as well. For a little extra money, owners of the toy can purchase laser scopes, dart clips, and other accessories such as the nerf flip clip. These items are sold separately and are usually available in the same stores that sell the guns.

Now that a little about the Alpha Trooper gun has been learned, how you play with it is completely up to you. There are a few game consoles with programs that, to play, require the Nerf toys. There are lots of colleges in America that organize recreational events that incorporate them as well.
